WEEKLY MARKETFIT UPDATES 10.2.23: SPOKANE ON THE RISE

MarketFIT, from Express Freight, is the first tool of its kind that allows carriers to use data to quickly identify the most favorable and competitive freight markets in the US.

All of our clients have access to in-depth dashboards on over 125 markets across the US and countless lanes between these markets.

This is a snapshot of live data from the week of 9.25.23 to Today, to give you an upper hand as you plan your routes and negotiate rates. Reach out to us if you’re interested in getting access to the full platform.

Market Highlight: Roanoke

Roanoke has experienced some of this week’s largest market improvement, with the FIT Score increasing 15.04 points from the previous week. It’s significantly higher than it was even a few weeks ago. This is one of the key bright spots this week on the East Coast.

What this means for carriers

  • Carriers inbound to Roanoke may find an easier time finding outbound freight relative to other markets as outbound tenders currently exceed inbound freight volume.
  • Tender rejections of contracted freight are above national averages, indicating more freight may be available on the spot market in the short term.

Market Snapshot: Reefer Vans

This week, we’re highlighting the national market for Reefer Vans, which is currently showing more green markets than the market as a whole.  The top ten markets and top ten weekly gaining markets are listed below.

Lane Rates Dashboard

Within Marketfit, you can see pricing for any lane between two markets. This week’s snapshot is showing bright spots in the Midwest and in and out of LA.

Reach out to us if you want to see the lanes you’re currently running.

MarketFIT Lane Matrix

The Lane Martix in MarketFIT gives carriers detailed load and pricing data on any two lanes throughout the US.

This week we’re highlighting select lanes in the Midwest. While we’re continuing to see some positive movement in the market, there is still a lot of red and orange in these markets.

MarketFIT Lane Loads

To round out this week’s wrap-up, below are MarketFIT scores for key lanes and loads across the US. You can see some of the highest lanes, which should command higher prices and have better availability.
